Join the Free Zoom series pairing an RSO musician with a local musician for a lively conversation!

The third in the 4-part series will feature local musicians Heather Camacho and Jesse Fox from The Lone Canary and RSO musician Ria Hodgson on Wednesday, April 28  from 6-7 pm in a discussion about Americana folk music and its intersection with the classical world.

Rockford-based Folk/Americana duo The Lone Canary will discuss some of their musical influences and share stories of writing, recording, and performing music. RSO violist Ria Hodgson will host this discussion and draw parallels between the process for classical musicians. Questions will be open to attendees at the conclusion.
