
The Masterworks Series is a curated series of concerts featuring great works from the orchestral repertoire, spanning different periods and styles that demonstrate the depth and variety of musical expression. Masterworks performances further deepen an appreciation of classical music and offer an opportunity to learn more about the symphonic repertoire through Prelude Talks and program notes that provide insights into the composers, historical context, and musical themes featured in the performances.
The RSO begins the 2025/26 season with Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol, a vibrant celebration of Spanish folk music. Guitar virtuoso Daniel Bolshoy returns for Ponce’s Concierto del Sur, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 concludes the concert with a triumphant finale.
