Hello RSYO Musicians and Parents,
The orchestra has so many things happening in the next couple of week that I thought I should send out a reminder!
Chamber Orchestra Concert
The RSYO Chamber Orchestra has a performance this Friday, November 4 at 7:30pm. It will be at First Lutheran Church, 225 S 3rd St, Rockford, IL 61104. General admission tickets are just $5 and RSYO musicians are free for the Chamber Orchestra concerts. Come support your fellow musicians. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the door.
Chipotle Fundraiser
Because tuition doesn’t cover all the costs for the youth orchestra, we are having another fundraising night at a local restaurant. Plus who can say no to Chipotle!? Here are the details: Monday, November 7, 2022 , 5:00-9:00 pm, Chipotle of Rockford, 751 S. Perryville RD. If you order at the restaurant, you must tell them you want your order to go towards the RSYO fundraiser! If you are ordering ONLINE use CODE CKWZMXL so that the RSYO gets credit. Attached is a flyer.
RSO Comp Tickets and Volunteer Opportunity
As a reminder you may request up to 3 comp tickets for the upcoming RSO Concert. From the Motherland to the Underworld will take place on Saturday, November 12, at 7:30pm. Information about this concert is here. You can request tickets here. We are looking for several student volunteers to help concertgoers access our digital concert guide. If this is something you are interested in doing, email me and I can give you all the details.
