Pops concerts feature lighter, more familiar works from movies, TV, Broadway, video games, and beyond. Performances are more family-friendly with matinee times available for select shows. The Pops series is the perfect way to introduce yourself or others to the live symphonic experience.

Contemporary video games are accompanied by the cinematic soundtracks we traditionally associate with movies, adding to the symphonic canon of our time. Joining the RSO with Big Band interpretations of “vintage” video games is Rockfordian Joel Baer’s Blueshift Big Band.
