Chamber Concert Logistics
Hello RSYO Chamber Orchestra Musicians and Parents,
We are looking forward to the Chamber Concert on Friday night. Here are some final details for you.
Location
First Lutheran Church Rockford
225 S 3rd St, Rockford, IL 61104
Schedule
5:45pm: Musicians arrive
6pm-7pm: Dress rehearsal in the sanctuary
7pm: Doors Open to patrons
7:30pm: Concert begins
Note: Feel free to bring a light snack to eat in the break from 7-7:30pm if you wish.
Dress (from the Handbook)
Personal appearance should be neat and professional at all RSYO concerts and events. For performances, musicians are expected to wear professional concert all-black attire. This includes:
Close-toed shoes
Black socks or dark tights/hosiery (legs should not be bare)
Top with long or 3/4 length sleeves
Tickets
Tickets are $5, General Admission. You can purchase them in advance online or at the door the night of the concert.
Entrance Note
You can enter the church either through the front doors, or through the door off the parking lot on the side of the church (the doors on the Oak St side of the building will remain locked). If you enter off the parking lot, you will be in the basement Fellowship Hall. Walk through the hall and up the stairs to the main sanctuary area for the rehearsal/concert.
