About the Program
The beautiful music of Rossini and Bach will be enhanced by the flicker of soft candlelight in this mid-winter concert presented by seven featured musicians of the RSO. Chamber music opens up a whole new repertoire for RSO performances and allows the RSO to showcase musicians in an intimate way. Set in one of Rockford's oldest churches, the musicians will be seated close to the audience, and in between pieces will share their thoughts about the music.
